Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine was founded in 1991, when Keith Rezin, MD moved to Morris, Illinois and set up a solo practice after completing his orthopedic residency at Rush University. Dr. Rezin had many choices of where to begin his practice, but ultimately choose Morris because it reminded him of where he grew up.

Upon arrival to Morris, as the only orthopedic surgeon in the area or on staff at Morris Hospital, he was pulled aside by a general practitioner. The general practitioner told Dr. Rezin that the area would never be able to support an orthopedic surgeon and that his practice would not last very long. It is safe to say the general practitioner missed the mark on that prediction. Over 28 years later, the physicians of Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine have grown the practice into a comprehensive, high quality institution.

Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine currently has 4 physicians serving patients at three office locations. Ancillary services including physical therapy, MRI, durable medical equipment and an ambulatory surgery center also provided at the various locations. The success and longevity of Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is directly attributable to the knowledgeable and trustworthy providers that make up the practice’s core. These providers have delivered high quality, cost effective orthopedic care to patients throughout the southwest suburbs and the Illinois Valley for decades and plan to do so for decades to come.
